XLMedia has purchased a number online gambling information sites from Good Game Limited, for a total cash consideration of up to €15 million.
XLMedia will take control of a number of Good Game sites including Nettikasinot.com and Netticasinot.com. The deal, which is expected to close in the first quarter of the year, also includes underlying content management systems, social network accounts, related intellectual property and affiliate accounts.
XLMedia said the purchase represents a “further revenue enhancing addition to the group’s website portfolio”, adding that it expects to complete full integration within the first six months of the current year.
“We are delighted to have reached a deal with XLMedia to acquire some of our most successful online casino affiliate sites, and for them to take each site to the next level,” Good Game CEO Toni Halonen commented.
“Following the acquisition, we are going to focus our efforts on bojoko.com, and making it the most valuable and powerful online casino comparison site in the world. We have big things planned, so watch this space.”
Ory Weihs, XLMedia Chief Executive, added: “As we develop our business, we continue to capitalise on the infrastructure we have built, and take opportunities to expand further through acquisitions.
