Wynn Resorts moves into Indiana and Colorado

Wynn Resorts, the US casino operator has now agreed two deals with Full House Resorts which will be rolling out online and mobile sports wagering services in Indiana and Colorado.

Wynn have brokered both of the agreements through their WSI US subsidiary, who are their primary operating company for its interactive gaming and sports wagering business.

Further details of the two agreement have not been disclosed, however Full House have said that the new deals mean that it has now utilised all of its permitted sports wagering opportunities in both Indiana and Colorado.

Full House is currently operating in Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel in Colorado and Rising Star Casino Resort in Indiana, while Wynn Resorts has land-based properties in both Nevada and Massachusetts.

Full House have also launched their contingent on the state legalising sports wagering. It was found in May that Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed off on a bill to legalise sports wagering, however the measure will be put to citizens in a statewide referendum scheduled for November 5.

Full House president and chief executive, Daniel Lee, said: “We are excited to partner with Wynn Resorts, allowing them to conduct mobile sports wagering throughout Indiana and Colorado.

“Wynn Resorts is renowned for its unparalleled focus on guest service and as the premier operator in the gaming industry. We are thrilled to see them bring their unique vision to the online space, beginning with the residents of – and many visitors to – Indiana and Colorado.”

These two deals have come after Full House agreed a deal with Churchill Downs Incorporated last month, where they now operate a retail sportsbook at the Rising Star Casino site.

This agreement sees Churchill Downs Interactive being allowed to offer sports betting at Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel in Colorado, subject to the state legalising sport wagering.

Full House in September signed a deal for betting exchange operator Smarkets to serve as its mobile sports betting provider at the two casinos.
