The 2019 Casinomeister Awards took place today, with the best *and* worst of the industry being recognised.
The winners
Trada Affiliates, powered by Income Access, was named Best Affiliate Program for this year. This is the first time it has won this prize, with Legend Affiliates having been victorious in 2018.
All British Casino received the coveted Best Casino prize, with players on the Casinomeister forum having a say in this.
After All British Casino was named Best Casino, Casinomeister’s Bryan Bailey said the following.
“They cut the mustard as making the shortlist for the Best Casino of 2019, and
they were voted by our senior members and Meister Minions as the winner for this year’s
award.”
As we exited the 2010s, those that had made an impact throughout the decade were also praised. VideoSlots was the Best Casino of the Decade winner, with 32Red‘s Mark Quayle receiving the Best Casino Rep of the Decade accolade.
A unique ceremony
Notably, the Casinomeister also focuses on brands that are disgruntling players and clients with poor customer service and performance. This year, VideoSlots Affiliates was named Worst Affiliate Experience of the year.
Elsewhere, CBet.gg were named ‘top’ of the pile in Worst Player Experience and Worst Customer Service. Players were also allowed to vote for who they thought was the most annoying forum member, plus more.
Meanwhile, the dubious ‘winner’ of this year’s Worst Casino category was Bonzanagame.com. According to Max Drayman, Complaints Manager at Casinomeister:
“The casino never responds in any way, totally ignoring all efforts. Nothing is done to resolve these issues.”
He continued: “The players’ money is simply gone and they have nowhere to turn.”
But it’s not all dark clouds and thunderstorms. Some of the negative categories are light-hearted, such as Stupidest Named Casino. The winner of this year’s award for this is the cleverly-named Casino Casino. At least their creativity has been recognised.
