TeamFA has agreed a second sponsorship deal with British boxer Charlie Edwards for his fight on the 16th of June. 2018 at the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Edwards competes in the Flyweight and Super Flyweight divisions with a professional record of 12-1 with five of those victories coming by way of knockout.
Edwards will be taking on Anthony Nelson as he bids to win the vacant World Boxing Association Continental Super Flyweight Title.
Edwards’ promise as a young fighter with global ambitions was recognised in September 2016 on the undercard of the Kell Brook vs Gennady Golovkin fight. He was awarded his first World title shot at the age of 23 as he took on John Riel Casimero for the IBF World Flyweight after just nine bouts in the professional ranks.
On renewing partnership, Edwards stated: “I am excited to be working with such a great brand for a second time and look forward to continuing with this exciting partnership!”
He will be fighting on a packed card in Newcastle which includes Gavin McDonnell’s bout with Stuart Hall for the World Boxing Council International Super Bantamweight Title and Lewis Ritson against Paul Hyland Jnr in a fight for the British Lightweight title.
