Multi-award-winning PR agency Square in the Air has recruited four new senior employees, just weeks after being listed as one of the UK’s fastest growing PR agencies by marketing news source PRWeek.
Firstly, David Cook, former gaming industry journalist at Gambling Insider and Reporter for SportsBusiness Group, joins the rapidly expanding B2B team as Senior Account Executive and will use his wide-ranging industry experience to manage SITA’s growing list of clients.
Colin Munford has recently joined SITA as Digital Media Executive on the digital team working on a range of B2C social media clients and accounts. Munford is a former journalist and digital marketing expert and spent several years as Communications Manager at Leyton Orient Football Club.
James Bennett, former senior business journalist, editor of eGaming Review and Head of Communications at Playtech, where he spent the last four years, re-joins the agency within the senior management team as Director and will lead some of the company’s major accounts as well as help drive new business.
Finally, Nick Brown joins as Account Director within the Square in the Air B2B team that has witnessed a 50% growth in the last year alone. Brown is a senior strategic communications professional with a decade’s worth of international marketing, communications and advertising experience including at B2B technology agency Metia and corporate communications agency SBC London.
The London-based agency, which specialises in communications and outreach for betting stakeholders, was listed 109th in PRWeek’s ‘Top 150 PR Index’ last month, reporting a ‘client revenue growth rate of +31%’.
SITA’s ranking would see the specialist agency list as the tenth-highest new entrant of PRWeek’s index.
Founded in 2006 by former Sporting Index marketing executive Bill Esdaile, SITA seeks to lead and improve communications between the sports betting sector and media/news publishers. Clients include Betway, NetEnt, Clarion Gaming and Better Collective.
