The leading software development company, SoftSwiss, have recently received a new Greek gaming license. This license was granted by the Hellenic Gaming Commission and will allow the leading iGaming supplier to operate their online casino throughout the country.
Under the license
The license allows for local operation in Greece for players with Greek passports and IDs as well as those holding local Greek bank accounts. This is a major milestone for all involved, as it will also allow SoftSwiss to further strengthen their presence in the European market. It will also give them the opportunity to establish new partnerships and boost existing ones.
Under the new license, SoftSwiss plan to launch a new project later this year known as N1 Casino Greece. This new project will be formed as a part of N1 Partners Group. SoftSwiss also have plans to integrate into the sports betting market at a later stage. The client’s team is in final stages of approval before going live and is announced to be released in the next few months.
Exciting steppingstone
Being granted this license marks a new steppingstone for SoftSwiss as it gains a foothold to operate in the regulated Greek market. It is also the latest in a series of national licenses that have been awarded to SoftSwiss, after the brand received a national license in Nigeria back in February.
The founder of SoftSwiss, Ivan Montik, has stated “It’s a tremendous landmark and an amazing achievement for us to receive the Greek gaming license to be able to do business in a regulated national market and expand our reach.” He also stated “It is opening new horizons for us and we’re ready to go for it. SoftSwiss is not only planning on doing business in Greece but also making a positive impact through charity and corporate social sustainability efforts in the country.”
