Sky Queen forms part of the Fire Blaze series, developed by Rarestone Gaming, which becomes the latest addition to Playtech’s stable of content studios.
RELEASE DATE
This latest title is available on general release now.
THE PITCH
The brainchild of Australian-based Rarestone, Fire Blaze is based around ancient culture themes, with all games giving players the chance to win one of four jackpots – the mini, minor, major or grand jackpot – via the ‘hold and respin’ feature.
Promising a “new level of jackpot excitement,” Playtech stresses that the suite, coming complete with “a distinct brand and compelling jackpot offering,” will build via a number of new releases throughout the year.
Striving to improve player retention and loyalty, licensees can also take advantage of promotional and bonusing tools to capitalise on player interest, through Playtech’s engagement centre.
HOW TO PLAY
In the main game, six or more sun symbols trigger the respins feature, with each sun representing a prize. These symbols, and their corresponding prizes, remain locked within the feature round, with extra suns awarding both more prizes and additional respins.
Any jackpot star symbol is guaranteed to trigger one of the mini, minor or major jackpots, worth up to 500x total bet, or if suns fill all the symbol positions, the player wins the grand jackpot, winning 2000x their original stake. The grand jackpot can also be won in the main game with 15 sun symbols on the reels.
WHAT THEY SAY
James Frendo, casino director at Playtech, comments, “The unique strengths of each of our studios is a core element of Playtech’s content strategy, and Rarestone’s expertise in creating games with a sense of excitement and anticipation comes through clearly in the Fire Blaze series.
“The combination of Playtech’s innovative game design and powerful back-end technology, coupled with the scale of our distribution network, puts us in a unique position to create recognisable jackpot brands players will actively seek out.
“The Fire Blaze suite offers something genuinely fresh for even the most seasoned players, with each new game featuring a different second feature to further encourage players to try every release. At the same time, ancient culture themes are perennially popular, further widening the appeal of what we believe will be a long-term successful brand.”
