London-based customer acquisition company, Seven Star Digital, is set to take its operations to the United States after launching its latest gambling comparison venture, BettingUS.com.
The new launch follows the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement confirmation that it has granted BettingUS.com approval to operate as an affiliate in New Jersey, which means the website can direct traffic to NJ licensed online operators.
The licence marks an important step for the comparison site, allowing it to cement its place in the newly regulated US market.
Luke Eales, Founder & CEO of Seven Star Digital, said: “The regulated US sports betting market is growing at quite a pace, opening up a whole host of opportunities for us to tackle. Our aim is to make it easier for punters to navigate the US sports betting scene as more states move towards legalisation.
“BettingUS.com currently offers news, state guides and NJ sportsbook comparison, and we’re excited about the potential for adding even more value to users, including those seeking odds comparison and betting tips, in the near future.”
The new online sportsbook comparison tool will provide betting site reviews alongside a guide to state-by-state legislation in the US, in addition to bettin guides for individual sports. The site also covers US gambling news, making it a hub for all those involved with sports betting in the US.
The launch follows the repeal of PASPA in May last year, which meant that individual states could open up to sports betting legislation. Since its repeal, there has been somewhat of a domino effect on the number of states legalising, with Delaware, New Jersey and Mississippi among the first – and many others swiftly following.
