SBC Events is hosting an online conference will begin on 27th April, ending on 1st May. Each day will have a different theme.
A variety of industry executives will be holding talks.
Addressing challenges in various sub-sectors
The theme of talks for each day will go as follows.
- Monday: Leadership in Betting
- Tuesday: Leadership in Gaming & LatAm Market
- Wednesday: Lotteries & US Market
- Thursday: Payments
- Friday: Digital Marketing day which also features an exclusive Digital Marketing Workshop hosted by Lee-Ann Johnstone
Over 140 speakers will participate in the summit. Through their talks, they will identify opportunity areas within their specific sector. Ways that operators can take advantage of these will also be shared.
In addition to the above, challenges related to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic will be addressed.
Rasmus Sojmark, SBC CEO & Co-Founder, said that it was important to help in times where it was needed.

High-profile speakers on show
XLMedia CEO Stuart Simms will be present for the online conference. Some of the names he will be joined by include Betsson CEO Jesper Svensson, Smarkets CCO Celine Crawford and Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith and Lee-Ann Johnstone, industry veteran and digital marketing expert.
Both Svensson and Smith have shared their thoughts on the event’s launch. Svensson said as follows.
“Myself and the staff at Betsson are looking forward to participating in this exciting concept as we tackle the challenges that Covid-19 is presenting to us as an industry and society in general. Being able to discuss best practice in the current environment will be extremely valuable for the future.”
Meanwhile, Smith said the below.
“This is a great initiative by SBC Events to bring the industry together during this incredibly tough time. I’m proud to be involved and hope to be able to help some people find a way through this as well as receive insight into how others are coping and planning ahead.”
Ticket prices and availability
SBC is aiming to keep ticket prices as low as possible, “due to this unprecedented time”. One-day tickets are priced at €49, with five-day passes also available for €95.
The publication has also said that “there are also different levels of company tickets available for group bookings”,
Until 5 p.m. today PT, all-access five-day tickets will be sold for the price of a one-day pass.
