Rush Street Interactive and the French Lick Casino have launched the first ever online sportsbook in Indiana.
BetRivers.com will now be available in both online and mobile form today, with users having the power to be able to place wagers on a wide range of sporting events.
Players can now register and bet instantly online or on mobile, as Indiana sports betting regulations do not require in-person registration at a casino. Subject to approval by the Indiana Gaming Commission, players will also receive a match bonus up to $250 after their first deposit.
Confirmation of the official launch comes after the Indiana Gaming Commission gave its approval on the new digital sports betting service.
Rush Street Interactive president Richard Schwartz said: “What better time to launch than in the height of football season, the start of baseball playoffs and just before basketball returns.
“We know our players are really going to appreciate the convenience of being able to place wagers online anywhere in Indiana, adding to the excitement of these sporting events.
“Our experience and success in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York allows us to zero-in on what players want – a massive range of sports betting options, through reliable and scalable technology, with responsive customer service, and fast payouts.”
While also serving the sport wagering partner for the French Lick’s retail sportsbook, Rush Street Interactive also opened a facility last month which can accommodate approximately 100 guests while also featuring a number of self-serve betting kiosks and staffing over-the-counter betting windows.
In Pennsylvania, Rush Street Interactive has launched two differently-branded apps dubbed BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse, though the SugarHouse-branded offering is to be brought under the Rivers brand.
