Details have emerged about a series of upgrades to the Impact technical platform, with new features that will offer further opportunities for affiliates and program managers to grow their businesses and maximise results.
One of the biggest changes is to how partner applications are processed. Now, users can automate the process using Workplace, which will approve applications from marketplace-verified partners as well as those applying to a template term.
This will help optimise the application process and ensure that program managers are working with the best possible partners.
The Prospects dashboard is also being updated. Users will have staff and prospective partner recommendations delivered to them directly through this dashboard, making it even easier to forge new business connections and relationships.
In addition, the Prospects dashboard is being integrated with the Groups feature. This means users will be able to create new groups without having to leave Prospects and open a new Groups window, which will significantly streamline workflows.
Multiple Groups can now be selected when accessing Performance Reports, which will give users a more detailed overview of business performance and allow them to track data more efficiently.
Impact is also moving to improve data handling processes. Reports can now be downloaded to a dedicated SFTP hosted by Impact, which will offer greater security, accessibility, and improved data transfer speeds.
A new version of the JavaScript Universal Tracking Tag (UTT) is being trialled. With this new UTT, stability and ease of use are the focus, and the file size has been scaled back for easier management.
The Cross-Device Report is also being phased out, to be replaced by the Performance by Device report.
Finally, Impact is testing a Card Linked Offers feature, which can be used to reward customers for making purchases. These link directly to customer bank cards, reducing the need for special promo codes or tracking tools.
