American entertainment company Fandom has announced the global launch of its esports prediction platform allowing fans to predict in real-time what will occur in their favourite esports. Fandom Sports CEO David Vinokurov said this new platform was “only the tip of the iceberg”. Esports fans and industry experts, brace yourself for what’s coming.
Try it for yourself
Good news! The Fandom Esports prediction platform is live on Fandomesports.gg with predictions to be made for events around videos games including League of Legends, CS: GO and DOTA 2.
For those interested in trying out the platform, David Vinokurov will be conducting a live demonstration of the platform this afternoon at 2:00pm EST. The platform’s tagline, and intention, is loud and clear “PLAY. PREDICT. GET REWARDED.”
More to come
The launch of this prediction platform by Fandom is only the beginning for the American company, which is planning to roll out an esports wagering platform later this year.
As Fandom Sports CEO David Vinokurov commented, this “one-of-a-kind technology” platform is only “the tip of the iceberg of what we have planned and what our technology is capable of”.
Fandom is said to be “currently testing various payment gateways” and “will launch the full wagering platform in early Q2 2021 once [their] private cloud infrastructure is deployed” said David Vinokurov.
He also added that the business planned on “minting and deploying non-fungible tokens as rewards on its free-to-play platform”.
