Evolution has announced that they have closed down NetEnt Live as they work to reorganise the brand. NetEnt and Evolution are now operating as a group under name Evolution with Evolution taking on management responsibility within NetEnt.
Big changes coming
Evolution has announced that they will be streamlining the development of slots and, of course, closing down the NetEnt Live offering. This news might come as a shock to many who utilise the live games offered by this developer.
Current CEO of NetEnt, Therese Hillman is expected to work alongside Evolution to integrate the companies effectively. Hillman will leave the company at the beginning of 2021 once things have been restructured.
Evolution growth
With the acquisition of NetEnt, Evolution is set to grow and offer products under four main brands. These brands will be Evolution, RedTiger, Ezugi and NetEnt. They have outlined some synergy goals which include cost savings over the coming year.
With NetEnt Live no longer operating as of today, operators and affiliates must be ready for any further changes that will be coming their way. This move is certainly set to shake up the industry as we know it.
