Mr Green has expanded its selection of payment options by introducing Swish for its Swedish market customers. Working through a smartphone app in which the user’s phone number is connected to their bank account, the payment service is the most popular in Sweden, with 6.7 million active users and 180,000 connected businesses.
Mr Green’s stated mission is to offer ‘a superior gaming experience in a responsible environment’ and believe this new offering will bolster the user experience.
“The online consumer behaviour in Sweden has adapted very fast to both payment services like Swish and identification through BankID,” explains Jesper Kärrbrink, Mr Green CEO.
“By applying these already highly appreciated services within our registration and payment systems our players will be able to enjoy a smoother and faster gaming experience.”
The development comes less than a week after Mr Green picked up a trio of trophies at the 2019 EGR Nordics Awards, held at St George’s Bay in Malta. Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, Mobile Operator of the Year and Affiliate Program of the Year were all snapped up by the operator.
“Mr Green has worked intensely with Green Gaming or responsible gaming since its inception ten years ago,” Kärrbrink added. “The award for Socially Responsible Operator of the Year was therefore one of the most important categories at the event. Already in 2017 Mr Green introduced its Green Gaming tool to its casino customers.”
