Affiverse Co-Founder & CEO Lee-Ann Johnstone has been announced as a speaker for the Virtual Mare Balticum Summit on 7th May.
The digital conference will address the biggest challenges facing the iGaming industry right now, including in affiliate marketing.
Going online
Lee-Ann will be speaking about how affiliates can make sure they don’t fade away during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The main session of interest for this sector of the industry will be: “How affiliates are surviving this period of uncertainty”.
The Mare Balticum Summit is an annual event, which primarily focuses on iGaming in the Baltic countries. Online gambling in Scandinavia is also a talking point.
This year’s conference was originally scheduled to take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the Estonian capital, Tallinn. But due to the current circumstances, a decision was made by European Gaming to take things online.
Other important talks taking place and speakers attending
Also joining Lee-Ann for the virtual conference will be Cédric Schlosser of the Swiss esports Federation. Morten Ronde – CEO of the Danish Online Gambling Association – will be another key name present. ICS Marketing Director Martin Calvert is also attending, as are many other individuals.
The event agenda covers a range of key industry areas, including how the sports betting industry will be ‘restarted’ once this is over. But opportunities in other verticals, such as social gaming, will also be spoken about.
Aside from particular things to bet on, the impact on the payments industry and a debate on whether or not advertising bans will remain in place post-Covid-19 shall also be discussed.
Delegates who bought tickets for the original event do not need to buy a new ticket for this one.
