Sports betting supplier Kambi has settled upon a multi-year agreement with the Argentina-based operator Casino Magic, helping them to expand into the South American market for iGaming.
Kambi will be supporting the launch of the Casino Magic digital sportsbook in the Neuquén province of Argentina specifically, as this country regulates online gambling differently for each province. The sportsbook should go live in Q1.
Realising the potential of regulated sports betting in Argentina
Back in December, Kambi also partnered with JVH Gaming & Entertainment, one of the largest casino operators in the Netherlands, to help them infiltrate the new Dutch regulated iGaming market. They hope to do the same with Casino Magic, except this time their sights are set on Argentina.
CEO of the company, Kristian Nylén, said this of their latest partnership: “We are delighted to have finalised this agreement with Casino Magic and in doing so strengthened the Kambi network. It is a partnership with real promise as we aim to realise the potential of regulated sports betting in Argentina.”
Emerging opportunities in the South America market
Eduardo Nanton, the general manager of Casino Magic, also commented: “Kambi has established itself as the clear sportsbook of choice in regulated markets in Latin America and across the world, so we are pleased to have agreed this long-term partnership.
He continued: “Their commitment to bringing exciting experiences to players matches our own and we look forward to working with them as we progress our ambitious plans for the Casino Magic brand.”
Affiliates should also start considering the potential of Argentina’s regulated online market if they want to expand their outreach in South America overall.
