US lottery supplier Jackpocket has launched a third-party app in the state of Idaho, allowing players in the state to purchase lottery tickets via their mobile devices.
Players will have the chance to buy tickets for a range of different games, including Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, and Lucky for Life.
Jackpocket has confirmed that it will be running a special promo to celebrate the launch, offering players their first ticket for free with new players also receiving a $2 lottery ticket after signing up with a promo code.
The app will allow players to purchase and view tickets, check results, and will offer prizes of up to $599. Any wins that exceed this total will have to be claimed from the Idaho Lottery.
“Idaho marks the 13th state where Jackpocket is available for lottery play, making 13 a lucky number in our eyes.
“The Jackpocket team is looking forward to providing Idahoans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way to enjoy one of America’s favorite entertainment options,” said Jackpocket Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan.
The news comes as the US Powerball and Mega Millions lottery games have reached a combined total jackpot of $900 million.
Earlier this month, Jackpocket became the official franchise helmet partner of the NHL’s New York Islanders.
