Las Vegas Golden Knights, who are a part of the National Hockey League (NFL) have added International Game Technology to their roster of corporate partners, these have been the latest firm to join forces with the hockey team.
While coming into existence after following an owners vote of expansion, the Knights began their inaugural season in 2017/18 where they made it to the Stanley Cup finals after having the odds stacked against them. Unfortunately they fell at the final hurdle as the Washington Capitals secured victory.
Under the new agreement with the gaming organisation, it is headquartered in London while one of its operational headquarters is based in Las Vegas. The deal will see IGT be named as an official partner of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, as announced by its president Kerry Bubolz.
Under the deal they will be named as an official partner, and IGT will be featured on Vegas Golden Knights’ web and social media platforms. The firm will also be promoted outside of the T-Mobile Arena within Toshiba Plaza before home games.
Also, the firm will also be incorporated into various in-game elements, which will include the make noise’ prompt and ‘jackpot bonanza’ game during intermissions.
The Vegas Golden Knights also have a close relationship with industry, highlighted by a number of previous marketing partnerships which have been publicised. These include deals with Las Vegas, Golden Entertainment, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, MGM Resorts International, Resorts World Las Vegas, San Manuel Casino, Station Casinos, the D Las Vegas, William Hill and Wynn Resorts.
Bubolz said: “We are thrilled to be official partners with IGT. IGT will bring a globally known presence to our digital network, as well as game days around T-Mobile Arena which will enhance our overall fan experience.”
Following its confirmation as one of the first three winners of the CasinoBeats Pride of Gaming Awards last month, it was confirmed by IGT that it was ‘honoured’ to be recognised for its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusivity within the workplace.
The awards, which took place at the Natural History Museum alongside SBC’s Hall of Fame ceremony, have been launched to celebrate those individuals or organisations that have done the most to promote the good name and image of casino gaming.
