ICE and iGB Affiliate London have both been postponed until later in Spring 2022 due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation within the UK. The two shows have over 700 exhibitors between them, and are some of the biggest events in European iGaming.
They were initially due to take place from the 1st to the 3rd of February, and the 2nd to the 5th of February respectively. It is now thought that they will move to a date around April, but will hopefully take place in the same venue of ExCeL London.
Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming, the events’ host, said: “This comes as really disappointing news for everyone connected with ICE London and iGB Affiliate London.
“However, in what is a rapidly changing situation, it became clear that we could not provide the certainty that our customers need in terms of logistical planning, from the construction of stands to the transportation of equipment, as well as the booking of flights and accommodation.
“It is a great shame that we will not be able to celebrate our return in February but the brand and its international community of stakeholders will bounce back in spring.”
As two of the most important events in the European iGaming calendar, affiliates need to make sure that they pay close attention to them, and ideally should be attending them if possible. Given the ongoing changes we are currently seeing, affiliates should prepare to attend the rescheduled event later in the year.
