Novomatic of the Greentube division has now launched in Switzerland with games on Grand Casino Luzern’s mycasino.ch website.
Within a statement, Greentube has said the company will introduce many of its existing games in the country, as well as new content “primed for local players” and will exclusively offer Golden Games’ Super Cherry Slots.
Wolfgang Bliem, chief executive at Grand Casino Luzern, said popular games like Super Cherry Slots made the deal especially appealing for the casino, “As Greentube’s portfolio contains some of the most sought-after games currently in the Swiss market, this partnership will allow us to meet customer demand for popular titles such as Super Cherry Slots and strengthen mycasino.ch’s position as the most attractive Swiss online casino,” Bliem said.
“Together with Greentube’s impressive interactive offering, the company provides an integration process which has been seamless throughout, making it a fantastic partner to help us develop our online business.
“The Swiss market is expected to be particularly strong for us given the familiarity of our games with local players, and we are thrilled to be among one of the first suppliers to launch in this exciting region,” Daniel Lechner, Greentube Head of Sales, said.
“Grand Casino Luzern’s leading position in and knowledge of the market, combined with its extensive customer base, will help us grow our brand in Switzerland and build on our land-based reputation.”
The mycasino.ch website, which is powered by Paf, launched on 22 August after the country’s Federal Council (Bundesrat) n approved the casino’s application for an igaming licence on 7 June.
Grand Casino Luzern was one of four casinos granted an online gaming licence by the Bundesrat in June after 73% of Swiss voters approved a proposal to regulate online gaming in a referendum in June 2018.
