Leading sportsbook DraftKings has joined with Genius Sports for a multi-year agreement that will see the brands share the official data and content solutions for a range of top sports competitions.
This will allow DraftKings to offer live experiences for their customers while also accessing data and live videos for over 170,000 events per year. One of the biggest brands that they will gain access to through this is the NFL.
Joining forces
DraftKings was selected as one of the NFL’s official sports betting partners in April, while Genius was chosen to be its exclusive distributor of real-time content like play-by-play statistics, proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS) data and more.
There are more benefits to the deal for DraftKings. Their customers will also be able to access data from other competitions such as the Premier League in England and NASCAR. They will also look to expand Genius’s BetBuilder solution across other major American leagues such as the NBA and MLB.
