Ex-footballer Vinnie Jones has partnered with Easyodds.com, an independent sports betting comparison site. Through this, Jones will be sharing his thoughts via articles on the site.
A clear match
In its official press release, Easyodds said that Jones approached them after seeing that they were giving away Leeds United memorabilia. This was from the ex-midfielder’s time at the club. Easyodds themselves were founded in Leeds.
The former Wales international is best-known for his tough-tackling nature, plus his stint at Wimbledon. Here he was part of the ‘Crazy Gang’, which famously beat Liverpool in the 1988 FA Cup Final.
That no-nonsense approach on the pitch followed him after his playing days. After the partnership was announced, Jones shared his thoughts. They were as follows.

Competitions
The memorabilia that prompted the footballer-turned-actor to contact Easyodds was a Leeds shirt from 1989-1991. This was signed by him and worn during the club’s promotion from the Second Division in 1990. Two years later, they won the First Division. This shirt is the first prize that is being offered by the comparison site, sitting alongside £200 credit for the winner.
The second prize is signed and framed Vinnie Jones photos, plus £100 for the winner’s Low6 account.
Five runners-up prizes are also being offered. For each of these, £20 will be credited to their account.
Low6
Low6 is a game offered by Easyodds, which covers football and horse racing. For football, you can choose six matches for your betting slip. Meanwhile, the horse racing version enables players to pick two from each that they think will be the best-performing.
