ESA Gaming and Casino Portugal enter a partnership

ESA Gaming agreed to provide its EasySwipe titles to local operator Casino Portugal, marking the supplier’s first step into the promising Portuguese gaming market.

Entering a new booming market

Following a certification process, ESA Gaming has just made its debut into the Portuguese market through a partnership signed with Casino Portugal.

Zorica Smallwood, Director at ESA Gaming, said: “Entering new markets is a key focus for us this year as we look to further expand the reach of our products. Portugal is a market of great potential and we are excited to make inroads into the country together with Casino Portugal, a leading and highly regarded local operator”.

Portugal is a market with a lot of promise, whom online gaming revenue has increased by 58% during the fourth quarter of 2020 with online slots accounting for 71% of gameplay.

Let’s note that 15 operators have licences to offer both online gaming and sports betting in the country.

Something “unique to a crowded marketplace”

Through the agreement, ESA will supply its portfolio of EasySwipe games to the Casino Portugal customers, including Fruit Staxx – with further titles due to be released later this year.

According to the supplier, the launch of its EasySwipe portfolio in the country will help bring something “unique to a crowded marketplace”. It will also allow sportsbooks to “offer players the best quality casino games without disrupting the sports betting portfolio”.

EasySwipe games will be a great addition to our casino portfolio, and we are thrilled to be the first operator in the country to offer their titles to our growing customer base.”
