Global Gaming and Mr Green (MRG) were named amongst the winners at the 2019 EGR Nordics Awards last night.
Global Gaming was crowned Operator of the Year while Mr Green won three awards: Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, Mobile Operator of the Year and Affiliate Program of the Year.
Held at the Corinthia Hotel, St. George’s Bay, Malta, the prestigious awards recognise successful and innovative online gaming companies operating in the Nordic region.
The expert panel of judges were impressed with Global Gaming’s flagship brand Ninja Casino and its solid performance in the region, where it has grown to become an established name.
Global Gaming CEO Joacim Möller said: “Winning the title of Operator of the Year at the EGR Nordics Awards is a wonderful way to kick off 2019, and it starts what should be a really exciting year for Global Gaming.
“I’d personally like to congratulate the whole team who have each played their part in us securing industry recognition once again. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved at Global Gaming and we’re already looking ahead to build on this success.”
Meanwhile, Mr Green CEO Jesper Kärrbrink struggled to contain his excitement at winning a trio of awards: “We have met a fantastic response from our customers. We have seen record high growth in the number of new customers as well as returning customers. It proves that our customers like what we do. This year, we will continue to deliver on our strategy, focusing on increased automation based on our customers’ individual preferences and risk behaviours.
“Mr Green has worked intensely with Green Gaming or responsible gaming since its inception ten years ago. The award for Socially Responsible Operator of the Year was therefore one of the most important categories at the event. Already in 2017 Mr Green introduced its Green Gaming tool to its casino customers.”
