CheckdMedia has announced the addition of Fantasy Hub to its product portfolio, which is hoped will mark ‘the start of an exciting period for the agency.’
The free-to-play mobile app introduces a new platform for UK football fans to both compete and engage with other like-minded punters.
The app, which is available for both iOS and Android systems, will not only offer competitions based around the Premier League followers, but will also include the Sky Bet Championship, UEFA Champions League and summer international tournaments.
A statement released by CheckdMedia explained: “Fantasy Hub uses the technology behind the popular Fantasy iTeam game that was one of the first app-only products in the industry at the time of its introduction in 2010.
“The Checkd Development team have extended the platform to cater for fans of Second-Tier English football while also displaying the best content and latest exclusive offers and promotions from Checkd Media’s premium partners.”
The app is a modernised version of traditional Fantasy Football, with features and gameplay designed around the always-on nature of mobile gaming. In-Play transfers, ever-changing player values and head-to-head competitions will look to keep the users engaged throughout the whole footballing season.
Adam Patton, CheckdMedia’s Product Director concluded: “This was an obvious first step for the Checkd Group on our path to offering more games and content to our football fanatic audience. Fantasy has long been a great platform to build a relationship with UK fans, and the app itself is a unique and addictive variation on the traditional games we’ve all played for years.”
