Malta-based Casumo has confirmed its expansion into the UK’s sports betting market, it announced yesterday.
This adds to the brand’s growing presence in Europe, with Denmark and Italy some of its other markets.
An ethical approach
Casumo’s influence in the UK has been ongoing before it announced its expansion. At the beginning of this season, the operator partnered with Reading Football Club.
At the Championship side’s stadium, 50% of its posters and match day programme ads are dedicated to responsible gambling. Casumo has also contributed to initiatives for Remembrance Day, plus the Rainbow Laces campaign – which aims to promote LGBT+ acceptance.
Casumocares.com has also gained more traction since August. It launched a responsible gambling campaign for the recent home game against Birmingham, which raised over £6,000 for GamCare.
Mike Kenword, Development Director for GamCare, said: “This donation towards our important work with young people is very much appreciated.
“Our BigDeal programme gives young people the facts about gambling so that they can go on to make safe and informed choices about gambling should they choose to participate in the future.”
Meanwhile, Reading FC Chief Executive Nigel Howe said that “it’s commendable to see a gambling brand using a sponsorship for good causes”.
Affiliates
Casumo has an established affiliate program, which UK-based sites will be able to utilise. Commission ranges from 25% for 0-5 new depositing players per month, to 40% for 40+ of these.
The Casumo Affiliates site is also available in German, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish.
