Great.com is providing players of Molly’s Malta Game, taking place at CasinoBeats Malta, to donate €10,000 to a charity of their choice.
Molly’s Malta Game will be held on the evening of 26th March, in association with OlyBet. The event is a 100-seat, invite-only event for industry executives.
The game will be hosted by Molly Bloom, an American entrepreneur. She’s well-known within poker for organising underground, high-stake events for Hollywood superstars. Since then, her life story has been made into a movie.
Molly’s Game was nominated for an Oscar in 2018.
For a Great cause
Great.com will give the winner of Molly’s Malta Game the sum mentioned in the introduction, to provide to their chosen charity. The initiative is led by Erik Bergman, who also co-founded Catena Media. The Swede shared his thoughts on the event in Malta.
“We at Great are thrilled that CasinoBeats reached out and proposed us working together for their final-night poker tournament. As I started my iGaming career as a poker player when I was 18, it was natural that we wanted to be part of this.”
He continued by talking about Great’s commitment to charitable causes.
“Some of you may know that Great is a charity in the iGaming sphere and with that in mind it feels extra good that CasinoBeats chose to give this exposure to the cause of making the world a better place. And for us to accept the invitation and make a €10,000 donation in the winner’s name feels like an honour to us.”
Stewart Darkin, Managing Director of CasinoBeats, also spoke about Great’s involvement. He believes that it will be a positive end to what he thinks will be an enjoyable few days in Malta.
“Great’s generous donation of the €10,000 prize for charity will certainly add to the competitive buzz at Molly’s Malta Game and help to ensure the evening is a fantastic way to bring the curtain down on the event.”
