Boom Entertainment has entered into a multi-faceted partnership with gaming giant Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG).
The partnership
The move will provide the game developer with access to Boom Entertainment’s portfolio of products and services, including its brand-new remote game server, as well as market access via its rights in Ohio.
In addition, Boom Entertainment has agreed to build custom games exclusively for Golden Nugget Online Gaming. This comes as it was announced the company was a minority investor in the technology start-up’s most recent filings.
President of Golden Nugget Online Gaming, Thomas Winter, is elated with the news: “We are thrilled to enter this long-term relationship with Boom. Boom’s team has an impressive track record in the gaming industry, and we believe this partnership will help GNOG continue to differentiate itself in the market with a premier, unrivalled gaming product.”
A sign of things to come
Golden Nugget Online Gaming also stands to benefit from Boom Entertainment’s existing assets. This includes free-to-play gaming, sports betting content, cutting-edge casino technology, and widespread market access.
Boom Entertainment announced last week that it had received another minority investment from Rush Street Interactive. It also admitted to forging a commercial agreement with the online casino and sports betting operator.
A bright future
As the partnership is finalised, both parties are in a solid position to expand their share of the US online gaming market.
CEO of Boom Entertainment, Stephen A Murphy added: “We are excited to work with an incredible operator in Golden Nugget. Boom’s mission is to fuel the biggest winners in sports betting and casino gaming, whether they are operators, leagues, retail establishments, or media companies. We are excited to add our mark to Golden Nugget’s award-winning product.”
