BK8 News has revealed it’s entering into a new partnership with Gresini Racing, becoming the title sponsor of the MotoGP team for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. This move strengthens BK8’s position in global sports marketing and also presents new opportunities for iGaming affiliates to use MotoGP’s expanding fanbase.

Due to the move, the racing team will now be known as the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP Team, with branding featured prominently on the Ducati Desmosedici GP24 bikes, rider suits, team uniforms, and transport vehicles. 

The sponsorship will ‘go public’ when it debuts at the Thai Grand Prix, a key event in Southeast Asia—which also happens to be one of the fastest-growing iGaming markets in the world.

Sports sponsorships: a popular iGaming marketing trend

Sponsorships in major sports have become an increasingly popular marketing strategy for iGaming brands looking to build credibility and trust. Carlo Merlini, for example, the Commercial and Marketing Director of Gresini Racing, spoke on the benefits to affiliates, saying:

Affiliates can use this sponsorship to align their marketing efforts with race events, leveraging fan enthusiasm to boost engagement. Special promotions tied to race days, exclusive content, and social media campaigns could also be effective ways to maximise reach.
