American sports betting and gaming entertainment company BetMGM announced the launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan on Monday. This will now give customers access to benefits tied to MGM Grand Detroit and MGM Resorts’ casino-resorts nationwide.
Second online poker room
Almost two months after online gaming and sports betting was launched in Michigan, players have now a second option with BetMGM Poker that went live on March 22. BetMGM Poker Michigan joins New Jersey, the company’s primary online poker offering powered by partypoker US network.
“The launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan fully rounds out our premier gaming portfolio in the state […] we’re thrilled to provide players with another exciting gaming option,” said Adam Greenblatt, Chief Executive Officer, BetMGM.
Ray Stefanelli, Director of Poker, BetMGM added that he was pleased to see the company launch in a second state, believing that players will enjoy the product and poker offerings.
Michigan players can now join poker rooms with state-wide players, through the mobile app, which offers a variety of poker options, featuring notably an ever-rotating number of poker variants, signature poker tournaments, and cash-games of all buy-in levels.
Promotions to celebrate
The site is offering new players generous welcome bonuses and promotions to celebrate the arrival of the brand in the Midwest state. New players are eligible for a $25 bonus, as well as a 100% deposit match, up to $600. There also will be a $50,000 free-roll tournament on Sunday April 4 for all players in the state.
