Betting operator, BETDAQ, has confirmed that it will be offering zero per cent commission on all tennis bets during Wimbledon 2019 for both new and existing customers, in a move to complement the company’s growth strategy.
Tennis has been an area of focus for the operator in the last twelve months, following the introduction of a flat-rate two per cent commission. The new promotion is hoped to attract new customers for the operator, and ‘reward’ existing punters.
BETDAQ Head of Marketing Mark Harkin said: “We are committed to rewarding customers with a fantastic betting experience and our new commission-free initiative means that we will have substantial liquidity and be best price on tennis for the entirety of the tournament.
“Since we became a 2% commission exchange, we have seen a consistent growth across tennis markets. This offer helps us promote our product even further and I’m sure it will result in record levels of tennis trading on the exchange.”
Throughout the 2019 French Open, BETDAQ recorded a 218 per cent year-on-year upturn in matched bets. Furthermore, traded volume increased by 167 per cent on the previous year, while active users were also boosted considerably, by 44 per cent.
