Awin has made its affiliate network available to the Shopify ecosystem through an app store launch. Any businesses who are using Shopify as their website’s ecommerce platform will now be able to integrate with Awin’s global network.
Access to 200,000 partner sites
This app store launch means that any Shopify merchants will be able to plug into the Awin network which offers more than 200,000 partner websites. The audience reach sits at 560 million which provides excellent opportunities for any businesses that make use of the app.
Awin’s network is filled with affiliates who promote brands on a performance-based model. The Awin interface is known for offering excellent tools such as tracking, reporting and additional ecommerce services.
This integration with Shopify and the app store is set to be a great move for this brand.
Awin Access
This move comes as Awin begins its new proposition aimed at micro-SMEs and small businesses. This is known as Awin Access and it will offer businesses the opportunity to launch a program for free with additional benefits.
Business Development Director at Awin, Michelle O’Sullivan said: “Being welcomed into the Shopify’s ecosystem Network made sense as the next natural step due to the match of the exact audience Awin Access is designed to support and nurture. Shopify is going from strength to strength and, as the largest ecommerce platform, has an impressive customer portfolio of thriving businesses who can increase their traffic and sales by launching an affiliate programme.”
She added: “By paying out to referring websites only when sales are achieved all businesses should consider adding this type of no risk activity to their marketing mix.”
While this move is in the retail industry, it is important to note for any affiliate programs hoping to integrate with ecommerce sites.
