The third Digital Marketing Mixer, hosted by Lee-Ann Johnstone, has been confirmed for the evening of 28th August 2020.
Taking place between 4pm and 6pm BST, next month’s event will include a masterclass in SEO – building on from June’s content marketing workshop.
As was the case with the May and June mixers, next month’s online networking event will be free for all to attend.
Delegates will also be invited to actively engage through a variety of activities.
“It has grown into a true community offering”
The first Digital Marketing Mixer was hosted in May and served as a way for marketing professionals to engage with one another during the height of COVID-19. However, it has now developed into something more – with many attendees building long-lasting relationships.
Johnstone, who is also the Founder of Affiverse, said the following about the event.
“The event started as a way for us to keep in touch with people in the digital and affiliate marketing industry, but it has grown into a true community offering.
“We started with very humble beginnings, collaborating with trusted partners who aligned to our core business values.
“Those who come to the event are opening up new conversations and making real connections that are driving new business forward.”
SEO masterclass
Last month, Ugenie.io Founder Susan Kabani shared her content marketing and online community-building expertise with DMM attendees. This time around, Top Business Tech Editor-in-Chief Matt Hughes will be delivering a masterclass in SEO.
Matt is the Co-Founder of Aurora and is also a digital marketing lecturer at the Arts University of Bournemouth – the UK’s leading faculty for arts and creative media studies. He has shared some of his SEO expertise with us in recent weeks with a Q&A, which you can check out here.
It costs a grand total of £0 to attend
The DMM is designed for everybody in digital and affiliate marketing to attend and doing so is completely free. In a short two-hour networking session, you will be able to enjoy a range of productive activities. These include icebreakers and competition-style games, helping delegates to connect with one another on a personal level with other decision-makers.
Feedback has been positive. Crystal Content Managing Director Sharon McFarlane said the below about last month’s event.
“I loved the Digital Marketing Mixer last month. It was a great opportunity to meet some valuable connections and get new insights in the digital marketing and affiliate space, plus the entertainment was unique too! I’m certainly looking forward to the next one!”
