Degree 53, the user experience design and software development developer, has appointed Andy Furnival as its new technical director.
While leading the technology and development strategy at Degree 53, Furnival will be working with its development, infrastructure, architecture, DevOps and DBA teams.
He will be focusing on developing a clear and achievable strategy, in order to drive operational excellence at Degree 53 to make sure the best products and functionalities are provided to clients.
Furnival joins Degree 53 from William Hill, where he had been serving as head of technology.
At William Hill, it was Furnival’s role to lead strategic projects such as maintaining compliance standards, as well as also streamlining sportsbook platforms.
He also oversaw three business divisions, with over 130 employees spread across Europe.
