Online casino operator 888 is going to launch Control Centre, a customer-facing interface which will allow users to monitor their activity. This software is designed to encourage safe and responsible gambling among players.
The interface will educate and protect users
Control Centre will be implemented across all the 888 Casino websites and webpages. The interface is essentially a help centre for those who struggle with problem gambling or who simply want to ensure they are playing within their limits.
The software is also designed to educate users on their gambling behaviour and should help them to identify when unhealthy habits have arisen. “Our business rests on ensuring our customers are empowered to make safe and responsible decisions about their gambling,” explained the CEO of 888, Itai Pazner.
The timing of this release is no coincidence. Pazner also stated this in the press release: “As part of our wider Safer Gambling Week initiatives, we are delighted to announce the phased roll-out our latest safe gambling innovation, the Control Centre, initially launching to our customers in the UK this November.”
Safe gambling is at the heart of the user experience
Pazner continued: “The Control Centre has been developed over a number of months and we have identified new ways to ensure safe gambling remains at the heart of the user experience for all 888 players from the first time they visit our websites.
“The Control Centre will be an integral part of 888’s product offering moving forward and reflects our commitment to invest resources and expertise to create industry-leading, user friendly and AI -driven safe gambling tools.”
