WhichBingo announces winners for 2020 Awards

XLMedia-owned and operated site WhichBingo has announced the winners of its 2020 Awards. 

The ceremony, which this year marked two decades of the website’s existence, took place via a pre-recorded video ceremony.

Over 18 different categories, a total of nearly 200,000 votes were cast. 

Virtual ceremony to mark real achievement 

The 2020 WhichBingo Awards were co-hosted by UK television personality and chef Rustie Lee, as well as actress and presenter Linda Lusardi. Presenter Christopher Biggins also formed part of the co-hosting panel. 

Buzz Bingo was a big winner, picking up accolades in four separate categories. The website most notably won ‘Best Bingo Site’, just one year after it had been victorious in the ‘Best New Bingo Site’ category. 

As for ‘Best Microbingo Site’, that award went to Dream Bingo for the fourth year in a row. Elsewhere, Wink Bingo was given the prize for ‘Best Dragonfish Bingo Site’. Similarly, that was for the fourth consecutive year.

XLMedia CEO Stuart Simms had the following to say about this year’s WhichBingo Awards. 

“I want to extend my congratulations to all of the deserving winners and nominees. 

“The WhichBingo Awards looked very different this year as it was impossible for us all to come together and celebrate the many bingo accomplishments of the past year. 

“Online bingo’s future looks very promising as we head into the second half of 2020. As the industry continues to welcome new players to the online space while simultaneously embracing the latest regulations, we are confident that online bingo will continue to flourish and rise in popularity.”
