WynnBet (an online gaming division of Wynn Resort) has entered into a multi-year partnership with Elite Casino Resorts. As a result, they will be expanding to approximately seven American states. This will ultimately increase WynnBet’s market access.
Which states?
WynnBet is currently operating and available in limited states at the minute – specifically in Colorado and New Jersey – and is currently being pushed for availability in Michigan. The new partnership is increasing market access and therefore player access to the online betting platform. Specifically, this is made possible as Elite’s Casinos and Resorts are WynnBet’s new licencing tool.
This company has recently accessed the market in Nevada, Massachusetts, Iowa and Indiana. If that expansion wasn’t enough, they have also submitted applications to gain licences to operate in Virginia and Tennessee.
The future of WynnBet
Along with the fast spread of WynnBet across multiple American states, they are pushing for market access in more jurisdictions across the U.S. We can expect these announcements in the not too distant future; this will be huge progress for the igaming industry. This is useful as there is a market out there for igaming, as WynnBet has noted that they will reach two-thirds of prospective online bettors in America, proving they have increased market access.
Current partnerships
WynnBet is fast-tracking market access by already having secured iGaming partnerships with other companies in the industry. These companies include BetBull, who provide WynnBet with wagering services and technology, Scientific Games and GAN who have helped increase jurisdiction access.
WynnBet has pushed and will continue pushing for increased market access as Wynn Resorts haven’t been successful in recent years. In November 2020, results showed that Wynn Resorts declined revenue to $371m (£273m). The increasing market access will not only favour this brand but also serves as a great investment tool for affiliates in 2021 and beyond.
