UK esports betting platform Game Wager has just entered into a partnership with SCCG Management. The American gaming consultancy, based in Las Vegas, will be aiming to help support the brand as they undergo a US expansion.
Game Wager’s existing peer-to-peer platform has already been licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for players in Britain. The new agreement with SCGG will help them to expand to the US markets too.
Mark Goddard, chief Executive of Game Wager, said: “We have been developing and refining our wagering platform in the UK for the past five years; now is the time to take our software to the ever-expanding US esports market.”
Stephen Crystal, founder of SCCG, said: “We have been interested in this platform and its capabilities for years, with our mutual teams, waiting for the right moment to bring it to the massive and growing, US regulated iGaming and casino industry.”
Esports are currently on the rise in America and the wider world beyond, making this US expansion a great move for Game Wager. With many new games, leagues, and competitions currently being launched, as well as the construction and opening of dedicated esports arenas, it is clear that this aspect of gaming is only going from strength to strength.
Platforms like Game Wager give punters the opportunity to explore this aspect of the iGaming world in a safe and well-regulated manner.
