SIS (Sports Information Services) has announced that it has extended its current partnership with GRI (Greyhound Racing Ireland). This means that the multi-channel live sports betting services provider will continue to have access to GRI’s content for another 5 years.
As such, SIS customers will still be able to watch and wager money on the competitive greyhound racing events taking place on tracks throughout Ireland. During this extended 5-year period, the services provider will feature GRI tracks over 400 times on its online betting channels.
Greyhound racing events to become more accessible
SIS will be distributing this coverage across both its retail and online services, including its Live Betting Channels end-to-end solution, which is live 24 hours every day and provides iGaming operators with a betting event once every 3 minutes.
“The SIS product has become a key part of our racing activity and is an important element for many involved in the greyhound community,” said Gerard Dollard, the chief executive of Greyhound Racing Ireland. “It is our intention to continue to work with [them] to maximise any further opportunities that may arise during the course of the agreement.”
Offering new betting opportunities for operators
Paul Witten, the commercial director of SIS, also commented: “We’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with GRI and to be distributing live pictures and data from a wide range of first-class Irish greyhound tracks over the next five years.
“We have enjoyed a very close working relationship together up to now and this new agreement will enable us to continue to promote Irish greyhound racing to our customers, while also offering them a greater number of new betting opportunities in the process.”
