EPIC Risk Management has extended its partnership with Kindred Group after initially teaming up in 2017. This extension shows EPIC’s commitment to making gambling fairer and safer for customers in the US. They will continue to provide training and development sessions going forwards.
Expansion into US market
EPIC hopes to offer fully-accredited education programs across the US with a customised approach. The extension of the partnership will mean that staff at Kindred Group will understand the risks associated with problem gambling more in the future.
EPIC’s Head of Delivery in the US, Mark Potter said of the extension: “Responsible gaming requires a focus on culture change, understanding, and a desire for action and change. This is why EPIC will always begin any responsible gaming and problem gambling engagement with a process of consultancy to understand the current state of play within an organisation, the requirements that are specific to that individual organisation, and how best to tailor our solution to provide fit for purpose, effective, and impactful programs.”
A perfect partnership
Over at Kindred Group, Maris Catania who is Head of Responsible Gambling said: “EPIC Risk Management is without doubt the market leader when it comes to providing training around all aspects of responsible gambling.”
Maris also added: “Kindred/Unibet have been delighted to work with EPIC over the past three years and have benefited from their blended approach of combining lived experience of gambling harm with proven methodology and training concepts.”
Both EPIC and Kindred Group firmly believe that an effective training program in regard to responsible gambling must be offered in a tailored approach. They hope that this extended partnership will ensure all staff are fully trained in reducing risk factors.
