The first official sportsbook and daily fantasy partner of the mixed martial arts organisation, the Professional Fighters League has been announced. Online operator DraftKings will offer wagering on the PFL across its platform in the US, pending approvals from the regulatory bodies.
Live odds to be broadcasted
As part of the multi-year deal, live odds from the DraftKings platform will be integrated into the PFL broadcasts on the EPSN networks and streaming platforms. During the PFL’s pre-fight show, sports betting fans will also be able to take note of the odds and wagering opportunities.
This comes as ESPN has previously signed a deal in September 2020, allowing the brand to promote its Daily Fantasy Sports products.
Great promotion for DraftKings
During each of the broadcasts, you can expect to see the DraftKings logos appearing on the cage. In addition to this, the operator will have the exclusive rights to use the Professional Fighters Leagues logos as part of its marketing campaigns.
Expect to see some PFL branded pools appearing on the DraftKings platforms that are tied to playoffs, championship events and the regular season. These branded pools will offer cash prizes to players who want to get involved.
A big deal
The Professional Fighters League and MMA, in general, has been gaining popularity for quite some time. There are millions of people who tune into the biggest fights and DraftKings has secured an impressive deal.
With this brand becoming the first official partner of the PFL, there are opportunities for others to follow suit. Look out for any opportunities coming soon as this could be a profitable endeavour for many.
