BetMGM will be the first betting operator in the US to partner with a Bundesliga club. The deal has been struck with the legendary Borussia Dortmund team.
The deal covers several key areas. First of all, BetMGM will be permitted to use player imagery and team logos within their marketing placements. They will also be allowed to use the club’s branding for special promotions on social media channels, and are expected to put together some special sign-up offers for fans of the team.
In addition to this, there is expected to be some joint collaborations between BetMGM and the team’s English-language social media channels.
Through the BetMGM app, fans in the US will also be able to stream any Borussia Dortmund matches.

As one of the most famous teams in not just German football but European too, it is unsurprising to see interest growing in this area of football. Affiliates with an interest rooted in sports betting should pay close attention to the potential that other Bundesliga teams might have in America.
