Online gaming affiliate site BonusFinder has been accepted as a member of Responsible Affiliates in Gambling (RAiG).
The website will now join Oddschecker, Better Collective and Racing Post in the upkeep of responsible affiliate marketing within the iGaming industry.
Prior to being accepted as a RAiG member, BonusFinder had to complete a third-party social responsibility audit to ensure compliance.
RAiG was founded in 2019 and aims to encourage responsible affiliate marketing practices.
“An amazing learning experience”
After joining RAiG, BonusFinder Managing Director Fintan Costello spoke about this latest move forward for the website. When speaking to Affiverse, he had the following to say.
“As an affiliate, joining forces is the best way to make our voice heard and we aim to be part of the regulatory debate and represent our side of the industry.
Clive Hawkswood and the founding members of the RAiG have been super welcoming and open to us. They are truly committed to the organisation’s mission and the affiliate community in general.
“The RAiG audit process was professionally run and was an amazing learning experience for us as a team as our business was scrutinised by an independent third party. I would highly recommend any affiliate to join the RAiG and even if you aren’t ready yet, reach out to an existing member or Clive for a chat.”
Commitment to compliance
BonusFinder has enjoyed recognition and success since it was founded, receiving a nomination for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the 2019 iGB Affiliate Awards. This year, it was also nominated for ‘Affiliate of the Year’ at the EGR North America Awards.
Costello spoke about how compliance has been an important part of the business’ strategy from day one, saying the below.
“Ever since we started the business a year ago we have been firmly committed to ensuring the highest levels of compliance and licensing, with player safety our number one priority.
“Being granted a membership to RAiG further cements this pledge and we look forward to working together with the association and its members to share knowledge and experience and to ensure that best practices and standards are upheld in the affiliate industry.”
