Lead generation network and iGaming publisher Blexr has announced the appointment of Ian Hills as General Manager for its Malta office.
Hills was previously in the position of Financial Controller at the company.
“Proven leadership quality”
Hills joined Blexr in December 2018 and supported the growth of the company’s financial and commercial units.
He has also worked for Mr Green, owned by William Hill, during his career. Here, he was an executive.
Blexr’s management team released an official statement to confirm his promotion, in this, they said the following.
“He (Hills) introduced a dedicated business development team and set up commercial partnering, creating a dedicated analysis and reporting resource for all of Blexr’s major properties.”
Hills also spoke about his promotion, explaining that he enjoys going to work and wants all at Blexr to feel likewise. His words were as follows.
“I’m delighted to be taking ownership of Blexr’s operations in Malta.
“I’m excited to come to work here every day and I want our staff to feel the same way. We have achieved a great deal already but there’s even more that we can do, so I’ll be guiding our team to reach our ambitious goals.”
A growing company
Blexr is one of the best-known publishers in online gambling, with offices in both Malta and Barcelona.
In Q4 2019, the lead generator won Casino Affiliate of the Year at the Malta Gaming Awards. Prior to that, it won an award of the same title at October’s EGR Operator Awards.
At the end of February 2020, the company’s casinos.de website – which targets German-speaking players – launched a ‘deposit guarantee’ initiative. Through this, the affiliate will refund users’ deposits if they’ve been on the receiving end of unfair casino practices.
