Online sportsbook Bethard has announced the latest part of its European expansion by launching in the Spanish gambling market.
The final move was made after the operator received a licence from Spain’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gaming. Zlatan Ibrahimović, football legend and Bethard ambassador, broke the news on his Twitter feed.
CEO Erik Sharp said: “We’re very pleased to continue our growth journey in Spain, a market with lots of potential.
“Even though we have experienced short-term challenges as a consequence of operating in regulated markets, we still believe that long-term value and stability resides in such jurisdictions.”
In addition to Spain, Bethard is licensed in five other European markets: Sweden, the UK, Denmark, Ireland and Malta. The company is also looking at further opportunities within the continent, and expects to be licensed and present in most key parts of the continent by 2021.
The sportsbook has already started to accept deposits from Spanish players.
Bethard’s affiliate program offers no negative carryover, as well as a tailor-made commission structure on an XYZ platform. If your website is attracting Spanish traffic and you want to promote this brand, you can begin doing so here.
