Vbet unveiled French World Cup winner Youri Djorkaeff as the firm’s new brand ambassador at last week’s London Affiliate Conference (LAC).
The only Armenian representative at the conference, the sports betting operator was in the spotlight with its newly redesigned website and various bookmaking and gaming offers.
Former Inter Milan, Kaiserslautern and Bolton Wanderers playmaker Djorkaeff, who is of Armenian descent, was joined by Armenian-German Iveta Mukuchyan, and rapper Super Saqo.
“I’m very proud, because Vbet is good in the business,” explained Djorkaeff, who won the 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000 and 2003 Confederations Cup with the French national team.
“But also, when I met the founder in Armenia, he told me about the vision of his company, about what they are doing at the office in Armenia, and that he wants to bring the best to his country. Since I also wanted to get more involved in Armenia, I said let’s try to do something together.”
Mukuchyan also shared her impressions: “It’s an honour for me to be the ambassador of an Armenian brand and see that Armenian IT company is amongst the best in the world. I’m sure we will make a long journey together.”
Vbet signed an affiliate management services agreement with Affiverse back in November, giving AI responsibility for the BetConstruct subsidiary’s global affiliate strategy and daily program management.
