Casumo is aiming to put the disappointment of last week’s Gambling Commission (UKGC) fine behind them, after the operator was named as one of the 16 recipients of an online gambling licence from Swedish gambling authority Lotteriinspektionen.
The firm, which also runs an affiliate program known as Casumo Affiliates, has discussed how it is looking forward “to continuing to further grow our product offering and presence in Sweden”.
In a statement, the operator said that Lotteriinspektionen had been made aware of this week’s decision by the UKGC.
Oscar Simonsson, Co-founder and CEO of Casumo, said: “Sweden is a strategic market for Casumo, in which we have been operating since our launch in 2012.
“Casumo has very high brand awareness in the market and with the levelling of the playing field and availability of new channels through which to reach players, we look forward to continuing to further grow our product offering and presence in Sweden,” he continued.
“Our strategy remains on continuing to enter and grow in regulated markets. We continue to develop our product and operations for agility, sustainability and scale in this space.”
The online operator recently began accepting Swedish krona and is working on its Bank-ID solution to deliver a superior experience to players.
