The operator 5Dimes has acquired a licence from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. This comes ahead of their plans to launch on a global scale, with designs to push their games out to all jurisdictions where online gambling is currently available.
This expansion will see them create a global brand everywhere except for the USA. Only some states in the US currently allow online gambling, and acquiring a licence to operate here can be trickier than most.
Of their launch in the Isle of Man, owner and board member Laura Varela said, “The Isle of Man is a Tier-1 jurisdiction, known for its advanced approach to gambling and e-gaming legislation and its exceptional reputation in the international gaming community.
“The Isle of Man sets high standards for its gaming operators and players, and we look forward to upholding the same level of principles and innovation with the launch of 5Dimes.”
As the home of many top iGaming brands, including industry heavyweights such as Playtech, the Isle of Man is a great place for this brand to launch from. Their plans to expand rapidly will be interesting to monitor, especially when one takes into account just how many jurisdictions they will be targeting with this launch.
Affiliates searching for new games and brands to include in their platforms should pay close attention to the progress of 5Dimes during this expansion.
